Yue was born to love shoes. Seriously. Her last name is pronounced “shoe.” A size 7-7 1/2 (sometimes 6 1/2 or 8 depending on how cute the shoe and how great the deal), Yue was born and raised in Beijing. She moved to the U.S. at the age of 8 and her first English word was “stiletto.” A graduate from UC-Berkeley with a double major in Business and Sociology, Yue is now effectively using her degrees as a full-time actress and on-air personality in Manhattan. She currently hosts for a variety of shows ranging from gamer websites, to red carpet interviews, to reality TV shows. In the past, she has hosted for AMC, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Verizon just to name a few. When Yue's not hosting, she's acting in independent films/commercials/industrials, choreographing for the plus-size girl group The Glamazons, writing celebrity gossip blogs, or collecting riding boots. She's also going through a quarterlife crisis.
"In what may be the next online shoe-centric phenomenonp-in the fierce glitter-strewn aftermath of "let's get some shoes, betch" -Shoetube plants its well-shod toes firmly in the universe of shoes and its obsessed legions thereof. The website takes the reins with short, snappy, strangely addictive video clips."
