What started out as a little girl shuffling in her mom's shoes, to a woman's size 7 1/2, or a 27 when strutting abroad, Dr. Deanna Lites has been walking through some of the hippest and most fashionable cities in the world for more than 15 years as a medical reporter for the CBS and NBC networks. As a medical expert in local and national television Dr. "Dee" is thrilled to be part of team Shoetube where she can combine her medical knowledge with her love of shoes. Although she's a podiatrist, she won't steer you away from a hot stiletto, Dr. "Dee" loves a great pump just as much as the rest of us. Dr. "Dee" has received several Emmy nominations and multiple awards for her news coverage and human interest pieces; including an American Cancer Society Woman of the Year award, two American Heart Association awards and the Florida Hospital Association's Jack Hardy Communicator of the year for the state. She brings to shoetube.tv not only her expertise, but a fun loving wit that will have each of us feeling better about our feet. Dr. "Dee" holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition from Michigan State University. She earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Il, and completed her podiatric surgical residency at Phoenix Community Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. In her spare time Dr. "Dee" juggles wrtiting a novel, hitting the links, traveling, and of course shopping for fabulous shoes. |
"In what may be the next online shoe-centric phenomenonp-in the fierce glitter-strewn aftermath of "let's get some shoes, betch" -Shoetube plants its well-shod toes firmly in the universe of shoes and its obsessed legions thereof. The website takes the reins with short, snappy, strangely addictive video clips."
