Hey! Great to see you! We’re thrilled you’re here to share in the live life, love shoes experience. Shoetube is produced by Powderhouse Productions, our television production (and now new media) company operating out of fun and funky Davis Square in Somerville, Massachusetts, just about a mile outside of Harvard Square. We are totally thrilled to get this, our first new media venture, up and running. And as we launch, the only thing we're sure of is that we haven't got it just right yet, so we're counting on your input to help us make it great. Shoetube began when the team at Powderhouse went out to film Melissa O'Shea and the members of her amazing Hello Stiletto Shoe Club at an event in Boston, in early 2007.

The spirit and joy of Melissa's dedication to connecting women around the country through live events set off a light bulb in our collective heads. Why not take what we already knew about storytelling from our years producing award-winning cable and public television, and try to provide a home for that same spirit on the web? It sure helped that Powderhouse is filled with a whole bunch of smart, interesting, and accomplished women who could steer us in the right direction. And Melissa has been our comrade-in-arms, sharing her sage advice as we both launch our complementary efforts. All of us at Powderhouse invite you to join us in the creation of Shoetube, where we hope that together, we can create a truly unique destination... a celebration of shoes, life, love and the global community of shoe lovers everywhere ...
